We lock our gates Monday-Thu at 5pm and Fri-Sun at 8pm. Cars left parked inside the property will get locked in. We request that you leave the property by closing time.

Greens Fees

$10 per player per day

Course Conditions:

Seasonal: Creeks & waterfall are currently not flowing -- both ponds are dry. No swimming available.

Camping will be available for Texas Teams. Please read and follow the Ranch Rules.

Texas Teams Order Form

2008 Texas Teams Gear!

Each player can choose from high-quality Sweatshirt, Hoodie, or Mock Turtleneck; Black or White (perfect for your Team dye!), and sizes from Small to 3X.

Order must be placed by October 15 to ensure color and sizes. Otherwise we cannot guarantee choice of color and size. Don't wait till the last minute! We will not reorder any shirts after the event. -- (order form coming soon)

The Concept
Every course in Texas is invited to send a team. Teams may also represent schools, ultimate teams, or other organizations. Some courses send more than one team.

The Format
Teams compete head-to-head, so when A-Town plays B-Ville, A-Town’s #1 plays B-Ville’s #1, A-Town’s #2 plays B-Ville’s #2…etc. The team that wins the most individual matches gets the victory.

Rounds are 9 holes, and it’s all match play, so it’s not your total score that counts – it’s how many holes you win.

Most teams will play 4 rounds on Saturday and 2-3 rounds on Sunday.

Team Makeup
There are two divisions – Emerging and Established. Smaller towns and newer courses compete in the Emerging division. Teams consist of 6 players: 3 Advanced and 3 Intermediate.

Bigger cities and older courses compete in the Established division. Established teams have 9 players: 2 Pro, 2 Advanced, 2 Intermediate, 1 Master, 1 Amateur Woman, and one “swing” player (Pro Woman, Grand Master, or Advanced Master).

Texas Teams has been a Texas Disc Golf tradition since 2000. Teams represent clubs or individual courses and are comprised of players of varying skill levels. Players compete for their team in head-to-head match play in nine-hole rounds. Points, rather than strokes, are totalled from all of the team's rounds to determine the winning team.

The two-day tournament at Circle R is much more than competitive disc golf. It's a camping experience, a reunion, and a chance to see whose community has the most skill-building and challenging course.

Entry Fee
$50 per player. Every player gets a tournament sweatshirt, a tournament disc, greens fee, and free lunch on Saturday, plus additional items and/or benefits to be disclosed at a future time... Camping is free for Texas Team Championships. We now have 2 newly remodeled bathrooms. One for Men and another for Women with warm clean showers. All ranch guestsmust read and follow the Ranch Rules.

Payout
There will be trophies for the top teams, plus awards for Best Dressed Team and Most Spirited Team. We will be giving away additional prizes, items, and planning other fun activities. We will host a get-together Saturday night as well and share more details as it evolves. If anyone is interested in working with us on the Saturday night get-together they should email Dee. We hope to make this year's event even more special than last year.
